Japanese Threadfin Bream (Nemipterus japonicus) is a bottom-dwelling fish of the northern Arabian Sea off Pakistan, where it lives in schools over mud and sand. It is pink above and silvery below, with fine golden-yellow stripes along the body and a short thread-like filament on the upper lobe of its pink tail.
